Dear Farmington Presbyterian Day School Family,
We originally hoped that we would be able to reopen April 1st. With Governor Lee’s request that all schools remain closed through April 24th and Mayor Palazzolo’s “Safe at Home” declaration through April 7th, it is clear that it is in the best interest of our students, families, and staff to remain closed. There is nothing more important to us that the health and safety of your children.
We have taken this opportunity to have all of the carpets cleaned and sanitized and are working to deep clean the building.
We plan to reopen on April 27th. At any time it may become necessary to revise our open date. You will be advised by email of any changes.
If we are able to reopen on April 27th, we will apply your April tuition to May. We will not be billing for May.
We are working to learn the benefits available to our staff through CARES and will be sharing information as soon as it becomes available.
If you and your family are in financial need, whether you are a family or a staff member, and you need reimbursement of your April tuition now to assist with cash flow or you need a payroll advance, please contact me, Rev. Rebecca Luter at email@example.com.
If we can be helpful to you in connecting parents in need of childcare co-ops for essential workers, offering resources, or in other ways, please reach out to our Directors, Linda Turner and Gretchen Burch.
We pray that you and your family are healthy and that this time will be a blessing to you. We encourage you to set a daily schedule for your child with device-free times, outside play time, and family game times.
If your family does not have a church home, or your church is not offering virtual worship, we invite you to join us at www.farmingtonpres.org for worship at 11:00am each Sunday.
Grace and peace,
Rev. Rebecca Luter, Pastor
Ms. Linda Turner, Managing Director
Ms. Gretchen Burch, Program Director
